But for us at BioGlück, sustainability doesn't stop at harvest. We think further – to the compost and beyond. Those who want to buy organic seeds today are choosing more than just taste: it's about preserving biodiversity and protecting our soils.

1. The Beginning: Open-pollinated Organic Seeds in Grass Paper

From mid to late February 2026, it's finally happening: Our new organic seed collection will be available in the shop. We have deliberately chosen special varieties that impress not only with their flavor but also with their intrinsic values:

• Open-pollinated: Our varieties like the 'Berner Rose' tomato or the 'Nantaise 5' carrot are not single-use products (F1 hybrids). You can harvest your own seeds from your crop.
• Grass Paper Packaging: We significantly save water and CO2 even in our packaging. Our seed packets made from grass paper are plastic-free and offer a tactile experience.

2. Growth: Natural Vitality in Your Own Bed

Whether in a raised bed, in the garden, or on an urban balcony – our seeds are tested for high germination rates and robustness. We provide cultivation tips directly on the packaging.

Especially popular for starting the season are our aromatic herbs: Our organic 'Genovese' basil seeds bring a true holiday feeling, while organic 'Gigante d’Italia' parsley enriches every kitchen with its intense aroma. For those who like it a bit spicier, our organic 'De Cayenne' chili is worth trying. For daily freshness in salads, the decorative organic 'Amerikanischer Brauner' pick-and-come-again lettuce is perfect.

3. Harvest & Household: Where the Cycle Continues

After harvesting, the delicious vegetables end up in your kitchen. And this is where we connect gardening with our proven BioGlück classics. Carrot peels, radish leaves, or leftover salad preparations are not "waste" but valuable raw materials for new humus.
